Dr. Maria Haddad, BSc, DDS
Hi, I’m Dr. Maria
Co-owner
Dr. Maria’s journey in dentistry began long before she became a practice owner. Her passion for the profession was sparked early on by inspiring mentors and role models, including Dr. Nada Haidar, who encouraged her to follow her dream of transforming smiles. From being a patient of Dr. Haidar’s during childhood to joining her as an associate after dental school, Dr. Maria’s journey has now led to North End Dentistry, where she looks forward to welcoming new dentists and continuing to grow the team.
A proud graduate of Dalhousie University, Dr. Maria earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2013 before going on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2017. She brings a dedication to excellence in all areas of general dentistry, constantly refining her skills through continuing education to stay at the cutting edge of her field. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Maria shares her knowledge and experience with the next generation of dental professionals as a part-time instructor at Dalhousie, where she mentors students and helps shape the future of dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Maria is a devoted mom to three spirited girls. She cherishes time spent with her family, whether it’s tackling bootcamp classes, hitting the golf course or exploring the stunning natural beauty of Nova Scotia with her husband. Always on the go, Dr. Maria embraces life’s adventures and brings that same energy and enthusiasm to her work and personal life.

My Approach
I believe great dental care starts with listening and building trust. I want every patient to feel comfortable asking questions, confident in their treatment choices, and supported throughout their care. As a dentist, educator, and mother, I bring patience and compassion to each visit, taking the time to explain things clearly and understand what matters to you.
Comfort and Connection
Getting to know my patients helps me understand their concerns and make each visit more comfortable. Whether I’m helping a child through their first appointment or supporting an adult with dental anxiety, I approach care with patience and kindness.
Clear
Communication
I want you to understand your oral health and feel involved in decisions about your care. I explain my findings and your treatment options in straightforward language, with time for questions.
Thoughtful, Lasting Care
My focus is on prevention and treatment that supports your long-term oral health. I consider your individual needs and goals when recommending care, helping you maintain a healthy smile through every stage of life.
